The management of the Quebecois public forest

Coulombe committee

The Coulombe committee remains this day one of the inquiry committees on the forest of the most mediatized. The public consultations gave place to the deposit of 300 reports distributed in each of the administrative regions of Quebec. 66 of these memories result from bodies with multiregional and national reach. In Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean only, we count 31 memories. In a general way, the shape and the content vary largely. Certain reports rest on elaborated studies and contain several dozens pages, whereas the others present only a photocopy of a letter or print screen of a Web site.
