The distribution of the employment in the primary and industrial sectors of the forest industry in Quebec
The forest in Quebec generates more than quarter of the direct jobs in the primary and the manufacture sectors of the economic activity.
Such as we can see it in the graph at the right, the employment in the primary sector remains relatively low compared with the manufacturing. However, they are only about regions of which Montreal which obtain most large number of jobs in this last one.
Such as it seems the second graph, we can deduct that the strong subsidy of the region of Montreal in jobs of the manufacturing establishes a rather recent fact, given that it knew an augmentationde more than 230 % in 3 years only.
